Sunlight Museum

Sunlight Museum is an FPS multiplayer map inspired by games like Call of Duty. Designed for many different game modes like Conquest, Search and Destroy and CTF for example.

Genre: Multiplayer FPS

Team Size: 2

Duration: 3 Month

Goal: Design a map with a team from 2D layout to final Polish.

My Responsibilities:

  • Level Design: Designing and Block-out the map as well as the Lighting

  • Playtesting: Scheduling playtest to find flaws with the map and then taking the feedback to adjust lanes, site lines, pacing, spawns, etc. Also testing different iterations of the map to find the best design

  • Blueprinting: Worked on setting up a influential spawn system as well as game modes.

Banana Republic:

Banana Republic is an FPS multiplayer map inspired by games like Call of Duty. Designed for many different game modes like Conquest, Search and Destroy and CTF for example.

Goal: Design a map with the challenge of long site lines in mind.

My Responsibilities:

  • Level Design: Designing and Block-out the map as well as the Lighting

  • Playtesting: Scheduling playtest to find flaws with the map and then taking the feedback to adjust lanes, site lines, pacing, spawns, etc.

Blink is my idea for a multiplayer FPS game. It is an idea that I started concepting back in 2024 and once I was able to set up the core game play mechanics that I feel make the idea unique I was then able to start designing maps for the project in mind. All of my FPS maps that I currently concept and design are with Blink in mind.

Genre: Multiplayer FPS/Movement Shooter

Goal: Add a twist to the basic FPS mechanic of shoot and kill

Grand Library is an FPS multiplayer map originally designed with my personal game Blink in mind. Well also taking inspiration from other games and also considering the game modes that will be played on the map.

Duration: 1.5 Month

Goal: Design with the game mechanics of Blink in mind.

My Responsibilities:

  • Level Design: Concepting, Designing and Block-out of the map. Iterating on the lighting of the map as well.

  • Playtesting: Scheduling playtest to find flaws with the map and then taking the feedback to adjust lanes, site lines/angles, spawns, etc.

  • Blueprinting: Worked on setting up a influential spawn system as well as game modes. Had to also test gameplay mechanics and abilities for Blink on the map.

Step Stones is an FPS multiplayer map inspired by many multiplayer FPS games but designed with the core mechanics of my game Blink in mind to work for as many game modes as possible.

Genre: Multiplayer FPS

Engine: Unreal Engine 5

Team Size: 1

Duration: 2 Month

Goal: Design a map that uses changes in elevation well also creating a good flow from lane to lane.

My Responsibilities:

  • Level Design: Designing and Block-out the map as well as the Lighting.

  • Playtesting: Scheduling playtest to find flaws with the map and then taking the feedback to adjust lanes, site lines, pacing, spawns, etc. Also testing different iterations of the map to find the best design

  • Blueprinting: Worked on setting up a influential spawn system as well as game modes. Making the abilities in my game Blink work well within the map. Also using Blinks unique game mode Artifact as I felt like it fit well with that game mode.
